Queensland Opal Saint Therese Chaplet

This is a Saint Therese chaplet made of Queensland opal.  I chose Queensland opal because of its color.  Brown is the color of the carmelite habit, the order to which Saint Therese belonged.  There are 25 beads:  one above the medal and then 24 in the “loop,” which is one bead for each day of her life.  It’s funny.  Her life was so short and lived in a cloistered convent, yet she has touched so many souls.
