Don’t Be a Squeaker

Some say the Catholic Church doesn’t call for such a stringent fast as I described in the previous post.  No, it doesn’t.  But why would you want to squeak by with just the bare minimum? Jesus wasn’t slapped on the face and let go.  He was crucified.  It was a horrible death and a great sacrifice.

I encourage all to fast as described.  All I’m saying is skip two of your three daily meals (exceptions must be made, though, if your health won’t allow it) and pray the rosary often.
