Jet Rosary

For the first rosary I made with my new beads, I used jet.  I also learned that jet is petrified coal.  It’s surprisingly light weight.  The beads are cylindrical in shape, and the corners are rounded.  I used white opal Swarovski crystals for spacer beads between the Ave beads.

I have these blue Swarovski crystals I thought would look good as accent beads around the Paters.  You know, black and blue.  Once I put them on, though, It didn’t really look very good.  Maybe the blue was too dark.  I tried a number of different beads and ended up using satin Indian sapphire Swarovski crystals.

The centerpiece has Saint Joseph holding the child Jesus.  I hope you like.  Comments always welcome!
