Red Creek Jasper Rosary

Red Creek Jasper RosaryThis is red creek jasper.  I made a rosary using barrel shaped red creek jasper before.  I didn’t know what kind of jasper it was at the time.  I liked these beads, which I bought at the bead show, and once I got them home, I noticed the barrel shaped beads I used were the same.  Finally!  I knew what those beads were.  I think these are very nice looking.  I love the colors and the matrix (the veins running through them).

I used heishi (shell) as spacer beads and corrugated metal bicones as accent beads.  The crucifix is called the unity crucifix.  It depicts the Blessed Virgin Mary at Jesus’ side.
