I’ve made two new first communion rosaries–one is made of jade and the other purple crazy lace agate. Here are photos:
Easter message from Pope Benedict XVI
This is worth reading. A message from the successor to Peter.

Excerpt:
“The Holy Father began his reflection quoting Our Lord: ‘I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.'”
“Jesus desires us, he awaits us. But what about ourselves? Do we really desire him? Are we anxious to meet him? Do we desire to encounter him, to become one with him, to receive the gifts he offers us in the Holy Eucharist?”
Happy Easter
I hope your Easter Sunday was a good day and that you attended the Easter vigil Saturday night or went to mass on Easter Sunday.
Don’t forget, Easter is a season. It is not just Sunday, so when you go to work or school on Monday, you can still wish your colleagues and friends happy Easter.
We celebrate the greatest holiday (holy day) of the year, the resurrection of our Lord and Redeemer, our Messiah, Jesus. By the most selfless of gestures, He died in our place. By His resurrection, our sins were washed away. We are now dead to sin. Celebrate!
May your heart be open to and filled with the love of Christ, and your eyes open to His truth.
First Communion – Rose Quartz Rosary
I made a first communion rosary for girls. The Ave beads are made of rose quartz, and the Pater beads are Czech glass with the iridescent aurora borealis finish.
The center is color and depicts a little girl at her first communion on the front and a little boy at his first communion on the back.
Working on new rosary
I’m working on a blue lace agate rosary. Most of it is done, but I am trying to decide how to set off the Pater beads.
